Challenge

The main challenge was to redesign a complex institutional website while preserving the credibility, seriousness, and official character expected from the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The website needed to organize a large amount of information, including news, official activities, documents, and information about the members of the Presidency, without making the experience feel overwhelming or difficult to navigate.

Solution

I created a clean and structured digital system that makes important information easier to find and understand while still feeling formal, trustworthy and appropriate for a national institution.

The design focuses on clear hierarchy, intuitive navigation, and carefully organized content. I used a contemporary interpretation of the institution’s existing visual language, supported by consistent typography, spacing and reusable components.

The full interface was designed in Figma with desktop and responsive layouts in mind, creating a flexible system that can support different types of institutional content as the website continues to grow.

Impact

The final design gave the Presidency a clearer and more contemporary digital direction while keeping the professionalism and authority required for an official government website.
The project also showed me how thoughtful design can simplify complex information and make public institutions feel more accessible without losing their identity or credibility.
