Challenge

The brief was to create a static visual and an animation that captured the energy, atmosphere and overall feeling of Garden of Dreams.

It needed to feel connected to electronic music and the festival’s existing identity, but still leave enough space for us to bring in our own ideas. The visuals also had to work across posts, stories, reels and other digital formats without losing their impact.

Solution

I imagined Garden of Dreams as a surreal little world inspired by Sarajevo at night.

The main character became the center of the story, while details like the pigeon and Sebilj helped connect everything back to the city. I wanted the final result to feel dreamy, playful, and slightly strange, but still energetic enough to fit the atmosphere of an electronic music festival.

I used dark tones, glowing details, layered shapes and movement to bring the concept to life. The recognizable Garden of Dreams flower was also worked into the visuals, so the final direction still felt connected to the original brand.

From there, I adapted the concept into a static visual, social media formats, animation and promotional mockups, creating one little visual universe that could live across different platforms.

Impact

The project gave me the chance to take a real creative brief and turn it into a complete visual story.
It helped me explore how one idea can move across illustration, animation, and campaign design while still feeling consistent. More than anything, it was a fun opportunity to create something connected to Sarajevo, music and the energy of Garden of Dreams.
